I would like to recognize local businesses, organizations and individuals that financially supported Cumberland 4-H'ers and enabled them to attend Jr. 4-H Camp this Summer. I realize that a simple thank you is not enough. Because of your generous support, youth were given the opportunity to develop leadership skills, practice life skills and learn the value of citizenship. 4-H'ers had new experiences, made new friends, and learned lots of new things during Jr. 4-H Camp. You made that possible!!

Registration is now open for the 2026 Fishing Camp being held at the Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center. This is an overnight camp and will take place October 2-4. The camp is open to youth ages 9-13. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the camp.
Cost: $135/camper
$25 for teen and adult volunteers

Cast a line and learn the basics of fishing. Campers will learn fishing techniques, fish ID, knot tying, water safety, conservation and more!

4-H is accepting new families into the club. All meetings will be held on Thursday between 9 and 11. Meeting locations vary.

July 30, August 27, September 24, October 29, November 19, and December 17.

The Cumberland 4-H Home School Club visited the Cumberland Animal Shelter during our November meeting. We had so much fun and learned alot!! The Cumberland 4-H Horse and Pony Club had a great experience at Introduction to EquiSmartz, which was hosted by the Central District Horse Council. 4-H'ers from across Central District learned more about different horse related contests, such as Horse Judging, Hippology, and Horse Bowl. The Cumberland Club had so much fun and learned a lot! Check out a few pictures from the event.
