Sitting here in our group home van after dropping our last resident off to her new home. I am filled with such great emotion. Despite our challenges, we finished on top! I am so proud of all our girls and their accomplishments. They are amazingly resilient and I can not imagine a greater gift. Throughout the last 9 years, I have spent more time at the group home then anywhere else. Every day was not my best day. But let me tell you, it has been such a reward and honor to work with our girls. They have taught me so much about myself and life in general. So while I am sad (and in tears) they are not all sad tears. I will miss the crazy phone calls, daily crisis and moments to help others at their worst but also enjoying moments with them as they continue to strive for moon.
And I can not forget to mention the countless women who have worked and dedicated their lives to helping these girls succeed. I know the sacrifices you made! The tough decisions and exhausting shifts! They were worth it. Every. Single. One.

The group home may close but your opportunities to lend a listening ear, wipe a traumatized tear, and support a growing heart do not.

Indoor yard sale today and tomorrow 8am-2pm... still plenty to choose from! We have couches, chairs, office chairs, dryer, side by side refrigerator, floor AC unit, bed, dresser, tables, bicycles, holiday decorations, games, kitchen items, and other household items for sale! First and foremost, our journey does not end, it is changing. We will forever support the girls we have worked with and value our connections with them. The page will remain open as a way to continue empowering our girls and followers.
Second, thank you to our amazing staff. Your efforts are never in vain. You have laid the foundation for the future houses of success. Thank you!
Lastly, thank you to our community! You have supported these girls and welcomed them as your own.
