Join us for Stop the Bleed Training, presented by the University of Maryland Medical Shock Trauma Center, and learn simple, proven techniques to help control life-threatening bleeding before emergency responders arrive.

What a great time at House of Bounce! We hope everyone enjoyed seeing Santa and his elf! Thank you for coming all the way from the North Pole to see us and bring presents! 🎄 Holiday Meal Kits Available at ACLS Libraries 🍽️

This December, the Allegany County Library System is helping families enjoy a warm and meaningful holiday meal. We’ll be distributing 500 free holiday meal kits, each designed to feed a family of four.

🛒 Each kit includes:
Stuffing mix, vegetables, potatoes, macaroni & cheese, dessert items — plus recipes and cooking tips curated by library staff.

📅 Available starting Tuesday, December 16
📍 At all ACLS library locations
⏳ First come, first served, while supplies last

This program is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Maryland State Library Agency and our wonderful Friends groups across the county. Library staff will also share information about community food resources, nutrition programs, and library services that support families all year long.
