For the second time in three years, Sigma Alpha Epsilon has won the John C. Armor Jr. Memorial Award🏆

This award recognizes a student organization at Frostburg State University that has displayed exceptional dedication to both the Frostburg community and its members. The award aims to honor organizations that actively engage in meaningful community service initiatives while also enriching the experiences of their members

EA JD Bowman (Ed Hendricks Award), ER & Rush Chair Riley Cronin (Emerging Leader Award), Campus Advisor Sarah Haddaway (Outstanding Advisor), and Alumni Advisor Noah Haddaway (Dr. Mary Mumper Service Award) were all nominated, and while we didn’t take home any individual awards this year it was truly an honor to be included in the discussion.

💀🍀 Paddy Murphy ‘26 🍀💀

That’s a wrap on Paddy Murphy. Thank you to all those who helped out in any way- whether you painted or designed a coffin, voted for your favorite by donating or engaging on social media, donated clothing, or attended our tailgate or celebration of life. We appreciate your support! This week of philanthropy and camaraderie between our FSL Community would not have been possible without all of you! 🦁⚓️🐢🐞

Through everyone’s support we were able to raise $787 during the course of the week and we will be dividing that amongst the three sorority’s National Partners.

The final totals are as follows:

🥇 - Alpha Sigma Tau
🥈 - Delta Zeta
🥉 - Alpha Sigma Alpha

We are honored to donate $587 to Dress For Success on behalf of AST, $100 to The Starkey Hearing Foundation on behalf of DZ, and $100 to the Special Olympics on behalf of ASA. ⚓️🐢🐞

Lastly, the winner of our Gift Card Raffle was Dallas Calvert (). Please reach out to us to coordinate delivery!

Thanks again to all those who showed out for our return to one of SAE’s greatest traditions. We’re already looking for to next year. 💀

ASA quickly grew into a strong Sorority with over 120,000+ lifetime member at 170 chapters. Our chapter at Frostburg State is the Theta Lambda Chapter, and chartered in the Spring of 2010 after formally shedding their local organization letters of Alpha Gamma.

Paddy Murphy Week Schedule 💀

Padddy Murphy Week is upon us. This week we celebrate the legacy of Paddy Murphy, an Irish Born Bootlegger who worked for Al Capone during the prohibition era in Chicago, ultimately gunned down by fellow Brother Elliot Ness (U-Chicago ‘25).

The remember our fallen Brother Paddy Murphy’s good deeds and philanthropic nature, we’ve partnered with Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, and Delta Zeta to raise money for each of their service partners that they have chosen.

Join us in the Lane Center and vote with your spare change, or larger denominations to be entered into our raffle and help raise funds for three great causes.
