🔔 The Culver Lions Club was proud to co-sponsor the Culver Triathlon held at
Culver Military Academy!

Athletes from near and far of all ages took part in the competition, and a separate youth division gave children the opportunity to participate and experience the excitement of the event as well!

Many volunteers, including Lions members, former members, and their families, contributed several hours of preparation and support. Activities throughout the community, around Lake Maxinkuckee, and on the Academy grounds helped make the day a success.

Congratulations to our own Jennah for completing the event again this year, marking her second consecutive year as a participant!

The triathlon was highlighted by great competition, excellent food, live music, fellowship, and fun for all involved. The event once again brought together participants, families, volunteers, and spectators for a memorable day of fitness, community spirit, and camaraderie.

🔔The Culver Lions Club is honored to name Amy Hartman as the 2026 Culver Lion of the Year!
A few years ago, during a discussion about club fundraisers, Amy quietly suggested a golf outing. What began as a simple idea quickly grew into one of the Culver Lions Club's most successful and anticipated annual events.
As the driving force behind the Culver Lions Club Golf Outing, Amy has dedicated countless hours to organizing teams, securing sponsors, obtaining prizes, coordinating printing, and managing the many details required to make the event a success.
In addition to her leadership of the Lions Golf Outing, Amy continues to devote untold hours coordinating Culver Lions Club members and guiding the club's participation as a proud co-sponsor of the Culver Triathlon.
Her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication have made these events successful year after year.
Amy's willingness to serve wherever needed has strengthened the club, enriched the community, and set an inspiring example for fellow Lions.
For her outstanding leadership, tireless service, and unwavering commitment to the Culver Lions Club and the Culver community, we are proud to honor Amy Hartman as the Culver Lion of the Year.

The Culver Lions Club would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our White Cane Day fundraisers!

Your generosity helps us continue our mission of providing vision screenings and eyeglasses for members of our local community. Every donation makes a difference and helps ensure that our neighbors have access to the gift of better vision. 👓❤️

We also want to give a very special shout-out to our wonderful volunteers! Your time, energy, smiles, and dedication made the day a tremendous success. We couldn’t do it without you!

The Culver Lions Club recently held a fun-filled auction to raise funds that help members participate in meetings and travel opportunities that support the ongoing success of our club.
Our auctioneer, Lion Craig, kept the crowd entertained with plenty of laughter, spirited bidding, and friendly competition among members. His energy helped make the event both successful and memorable.
Pictured here is Lion Rosalie, proudly taking to the streets with her newly won stick horse!🐴 Determined not to be outbid, Rosalie stayed focused on her goal and outlasted the competition to claim her prize. Her enthusiasm brought smiles and plenty of laughs to everyone in attendance.
Events like these not only help raise important funds but also remind us of the fellowship, fun, and camaraderie that make the Culver Lions Club so special. 🦁🤣🙂😍🦁

The Culver Lions Club August Lion of the Month is our very own Club President, Eddi!
Eddi provides outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication, and a true commitment to serving our community. She is actively involved in all of our outreach efforts and is always willing to step up when needed.
Whether it's organizing and supporting Vision Screenings, recognizing local youth through Student of the Month, helping with the Corn Roast, assisting with the Triathlon, or countless other community activities, Eddi is there. The list truly goes on and on.
Her positive attitude, vision, and willingness to work alongside everyone make her a true team player. Eddi leads by example and inspires all of us to give our best in service to others.

Last night, the Culver Lions Club had the honor of welcoming District 25-G Governor Steve Weld. We enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared and served by our dedicated Lions Club members before hearing an inspiring message from our District Governor.
It was our privilege to welcome a leader who truly embodies the heart of Lionism through service, integrity, and a deep commitment to strengthening communities. Lion Steve has built a reputation throughout District 25-G as a thoughtful and forward-looking leader who encourages growth, leadership development, and meaningful service.
During his presentation, Governor Weld shared this year's theme: "See Clearly, Serve Boldly." He reminded us that vision is about much more than eyesight. Seeing clearly means paying attention to the needs within our communities, recognizing opportunities to help, and visualizing ways we can make a greater impact.
He highlighted the importance of Lions' vision initiatives, including vision screening programs and the ongoing eyeglass recycling effort, where donated glasses are collected and sent on a mission to Mexico, helping individuals in need receive the gift of sight.
Governor Weld also challenged us to serve boldly by trying new ideas, embracing new opportunities, and continuing to be known as an organization with the heart and soul to make a difference. His message encouraged every Lion to look beyond what has always been done and to find innovative ways to serve others.
More than anything, Lion Steve's kindness, humility, and passion for service were evident throughout the evening. We are grateful for his visit, his leadership, and the inspiration he shared with our club.

Although we are very late in posting, the Culver Lions Club would like to proudly recognize and welcome the outstanding elementary students from Culver Elementary School who were selected as our May 1st Students of the Month.
This month's theme was "Lead Yourself, Lead Others." These students exemplify leadership every day through their actions, attitudes, and character. They demonstrate and set positive examples for others, consistently show correct behavior, work hard, and display kindness to classmates and staff. They help organize and follow classroom rules, are especially helpful when there is a substitute teacher, choose to do the right thing, stay on task, and willingly help others succeed.
We would also like to recognize a double nomination received for one outstanding fifth-grade student. This student consistently sets the example in the classroom, manages time well, takes ownership of responsibilities, and helps classmates make positive choices. By following directions, showing respect, and uplifting others, especially when they are nervous, this student demonstrates true leadership. Most importantly, this student leads not only through words, but through actions.
Congratulations to all of our Student of the Month recipients. We are proud of the leadership, kindness, integrity, and positive influence you bring to Culver Elementary School each day!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support the Culver Lions Club Corn Roast! What an incredible turnout! We hope you came hungry, left happy, and enjoyed every delicious bite. 🌽🍔

And speaking of corn… check out these fine gentlemen! Between them, they represent a WHOPPING 103 EARS OF CORN! 😂🌽 That’s some serious corn-eating experience right there!

We couldn’t do events like this without the incredible support of our Culver community. Thank you for showing up, filling your plates, and helping the Culver Lions continue serving our community!
