Help with a campaign supporting CHSA families affected by winter flooding.
Help us raise R100 000 to support our families impacted by flooding
The severe storms and flooding across Cape Town have left many of our students and families facing extremely difficult conditions. For many in our communities, home is an informal structure vulnerable to flooding, strong winds, freezing temperatures, and storm damage.
Our Social Services team is already responding directly to families in crisis, but the need is urgent and growing.
We are appealing to the public, corporate partners, and broader community to support our emergency relief efforts through monetary or in-kind donations of:
• Metal roof sheeting
• Plastic sheeting / tarpaulins
• Sand and sandbags
• Blankets, bedding, and warm clothing
• Toiletries and hygiene products
“We are deeply concerned about the well-being of our learners and families during this period. No child should have to sleep in wet, cold or unsafe conditions. We are appealing to the public and our partners to help us provide immediate relief and dignity to families who need it most,” says Adri Marais, CEO at Christel House South Africa.
Your support can help provide warmth, shelter, and dignity to families in need during this difficult time. Please help us spread awareness of this campaign.
