Closing Black History Month, a play: “A Lesson in Blackness” from Heart Theater with no other than our SHIP member Romondo Youngblood (Mustafa). Mixing professional actors, singers, musicians & dancers with kids of all ages chosen for their talent, for 3 hours, in great theatrical performances, songs & dances, we relived the journey from Afrika to the Americas. From self-determination on the Motherland, thru the Middles Passage, slaves auctions, struggles, liberation, accomplishments and contributions, this breathtaking performance, maybe the only production celebrating February in LA is a must sponsor to be performed over & over around town🎉🎊 Bravo.
