Culver City High School AD Eskridge report for spring:

Spring Playoffs are right around the corner!

Boys Volleyball Hosted a very successful Tournament on Saturday. The Coaches, Players (All Levels) and parents worked hard to pull off another great event. They will begin the Ocean League Tournament after earning a bye to the Semifinals on Tuesday.

Girls Lacrosse is 8-5 on the season and in second place in the Ocean League. They will be an automatic qualifier into the playoffs! Boys Lacrosse is 6-6 with a chance to become playoff eligible tonight vs Peninsula.

Softball has been rolling through the Ocean league sitting at 7-1 in league and in second place. Wins this week over Beverly will clinch an AQ spot for the playoffs and set up a showdown with Samo for the league title in the last week.

Baseball is sitting at 10-0 in the Ocean league and in a first place tie with Santa Monica. They are in position to clinch and AQ and also look to set up a showdown with Samo for the league title in two weeks.

Swim has had a great year so far and has one more dual meet this week before the league championships will take place the week of 4/28. Four of our golfers have qualified for league finals based on the teams performance this year.

Boys Tennis has Clinched an AQ spot for the playoffs after sweeping Beverly this year. They have two more matches during the regular season on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then Ojai, League Individuals and Doubles and on to the playoffs.

Track has been on fire! Our athletes have been competing in both Dual meets and some of the top invitational track meets including Arcadia and Mt. Sac. Our Athletes continue to set Pr’s and set not only some of the fastest times in the state but also the country! At the Texas Relays our 4 by 400 Boys team won the event and ran the fastest time in the country! We expect big things in the postseason!
