📣It’s been two days since Girls Night In and what more can we say??? 📣
✨Girls Night In✨ was an EXPERIENCE! Celebrating young womanhood during Women’s History Month doesn’t happen in silos, but in communities and with events like this🙌🏾.
We have SO many thank yous due to our beautiful community that showed up for us in more ways than one🎀💗!
To Kimyata Tyree— Our Caterer, Master Aesthetics Queen and Mixologist— thank you for creating a Girl Dinner worth savoring, and mocktails so good that we wanted to take every last one to go🙂↕️! To Saniya of Laikins Lenses—thank you for the most beautiful photos and your calming presence in this space. You are SO amazing😊
To local businesses and business owners Koko Marlena, Muff’s Sweet Treat’s , Green Roost, Vinosity, Lotus Nail Salon, Eagle Postal, Joy Orr with The Refinery and Jess with Bride and Joy, THANK YOU💕. Thank you for your kindest donations to and support of the beautiful cause that is young women in their 20s navigating this journey of womanhood💗🌿. Without you all, this event would not have been nearly as successful as we both desired and planned for it to be! Each and every donation was a reaffirmation of just how vital community is✨.
(We would literally live at The Refinery if we could🙂↕️😂)
To our beautiful volunteers— girl we love each of you the MOST! Thank you for your yes in making a beautiful event be exactly that! ✨
To our panelists, thank you for the gift of your vulnerability💗. Thank you for your authenticity and your willingness to come as you are and be loved all the more for it. We admire each of you deeply and can’t wait to run this back sooner than soon🤭
To the ✨Girls Night In✨ girls themselves, thank you for pushing beyond the responsibilities and comfort zones of motherhood, wife hood, careers, etc. to exist in such an intimate space with women worthy of celebration beyond their titles and responsibilities💗. You all are our why and the reason that Women’s History Month was especially amazing this year💕!
And Lastly— to the Founder of Changing the Narrative Foundation | Japreshia Terrell (the foundation responsible for the entirety of this event)— thank you for your fervor and intentionality in empowering young women to become all that they have been called to be! Thank you for every meeting, call, strategy created and funds allocated that went into making this night one to remember✨! Your passion to see change has helped transform more generations of young women than you may ever know, and for that, we are beyond thankful🌿💗!
While the future is bright with opportunities for more moments of connecting, relationship building and discovering more about ourselves, please know that we (Jordyn Clark & Brianna Simone Reaves) remain committed to creating and maintaining spaces of celebration, growth, fun and empowerment for our small town girlies especially👯♀️💗.
