🕛 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM or until all turkeys are gone

We will begin handing out turkeys promptly at 12:00 PM. This is a first-come, first-served event, and one turkey per family will be given out while supplies last.

🚨 REMINDER 🚨

When the federal government shuts down, families don’t stop needing to eat. No matter what happens in Washington, we’ll be here for our community.

To help those directly affected, the Foodbank will host a drive-thru food distribution TODAY, October 17. Help us spread the word!

📍 Military Circle Mall (enter via Poplar Hall Drive)
🕚 11 am to 2 pm (or while supplies last)
🍎 Fresh produce, lean protein, and pantry staples
👐 Open to 500 households affected by late or missing paychecks

To ensure a safe and equitable distribution, guests are asked to arrive with trunks empty and ready to receive food, remain in their vehicles during loading, and wait for a signal before pulling forward.

This event is made possible through support from the Norfolk Department of Development, Perdue Farms, and Food Lion. 🧡

Our 2023 annual backpack giveaway was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out.

The back to school giveaway will be held Aug. 19 at Chesapeake City Park from noon until 4 p.m.
