The Big Man Foundation is looking for two part-time roles to help us grow our digital presence and tell better stories across the coaching community:

-Content & Community Manager
Own the content calendar, copy, publishing, community engagement, podcast coordination, and basic reporting.

-Creative Media Freelancer
Own the visual ex*****on: graphics, templates, short-form clips, podcast assets, and creative media support.

These are remote, part-time opportunities running from August through December 2026, with the possibility of renewal.

We’re looking for motivated, reliable, mission-driven people who understand athletics, storytelling, and the importance of serving the people who spend their lives serving others.

Please join us in welcoming David Kitchen as the new Board President of The Big Man Foundation🤝

Since joining our Board of Directors in 2025, David has become a trusted advisor, strategic thinker, and passionate advocate for our mission. More importantly, he understands the challenges facing coaches because he has lived them. As a former Division I Strength & Conditioning Coach, David experienced firsthand the demands of the profession and the importance of supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving others.

Today, David is the founder of Edge Leadership Academy, where he equips leaders, teams, and organizations to maximize their impact through executive coaching, leadership development, and speaking. His unique combination of coaching experience and leadership expertise makes him exceptionally well-suited to help guide BMF into its next chapter.

As we build upon the strong foundation established by those who came before us, we are excited for the vision, wisdom, and servant leadership David brings to our organization.

We're excited for this next chapter as we continue serving coaches and their families across the country!

Today, we celebrate the fathers who coach and the coaches who father.

Many of us learned our earliest lessons about hard work, resilience, character, and teamwork from the people who coached us long before we realized it. Sometimes that was a father. Sometimes it was a coach, mentor, grandfather, or another trusted adult who showed up consistently and cared enough to lead.

Thank you for the countless ways you invest in young people, both on and off the field. Happy Father's Day from all of us at The Big Man Foundation.

Recently, BMF CEO Casey Kroll and our lovely BMF First Lady, Hailey, were honored to attend the Chris Long Foundation’s Charity Challenge Gala in Charlottesville.

Congratulations to and his incredible team on 10 years of meaningful impact through Waterboys and beyond.

As one of the few sports-adjacent nonprofits based in Central Virginia, we’re grateful for opportunities to build relationships with leaders who understand the power of sports to create positive change… both globally and at home. We’re excited about the potential for future collaboration and continued impact together.
