What a wonderful morning at our Women in Our Community Experience Hope Tour! 💕🐴

Thank you to all of the amazing women who joined us at the barn for a morning of coffee, connection, and community. It was such a joy to welcome you to Hope Horses, introduce you to some of our incredible horses, and share the stories of the students, families, volunteers, and staff who make this mission so special.

There’s nothing quite like experiencing Hope Horses in person. We hope you left with a deeper understanding of the life-changing impact therapeutic riding has on individuals and families in our community and feeling inspired by the many ways we can come together to make a difference. 💚

Staying in the shade and practicing some leading when it’s too hot to ride ☀️

Unmounted skills are an important part of our lessons because they give participants the opportunity to learn about horses from the ground up. Grooming, leading, understanding body language, practicing safe boundaries, and caring for our horses all help build confidence, communication, responsibility and trust. When we incorporate unmounted activities into our lessons our students are learning how to connect with, understand, and care for their horse!
