Cullman County in north central Alabama...

* Until 215 PM CDT.

* At 114 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Grant to 9 miles north of Ashridge, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

261 in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening for the following areas

in alabama this watch includes 11 counties

in north central alabama

cullman limestone madison
morgan

in northeast alabama

dekalb jackson marshall

in northwest alabama

colbert franklin al lauderdale
lawrence

this includes the cities of albertville, arab, athens, boaz,
cullman, decatur, florence, fort payne, guntersville, huntsville,
moulton, muscle shoals, rainsville, red bay, russellville,
scottsboro, sheffield, town creek, and tuscumbia.
