Aaron, the young 8-year old boy, started attending the Tulay Meal Center, a ministry of Crossroad Community Baptist Church in Talisay City, Negros Occidental. Like many children, his first reason for coming was simple—to receive the meal lovingly prepared and provided by the teachers and volunteers of the church.

No one could fully see what God was about to do in his life.

What began as a simple act of meeting a physical need became an opportunity for God to work in his heart.

He is always one energetic pupil as his teachers would describe him, but beyond his cheerful personality was something even more precious—a heart that showed potential, a heart that would one day answer God’s calling with a joyful “Yes.”

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Growing with love, support, and Grace of the Lord, Aaron grew not only in age but in his faith. The seeds planted in his young heart slowly took root and began to bear fruit.

A product of a ministry God started. The boy who once came to the meal center, is now serving in the very ministry.
He is now a meal center teacher, church worker, song leader, audio handler, young preacher, youth leader, a very humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Aaron sees the support he has received from the ministry as a blessing from God sustaining him in all ways. What once seemed like simple acts of kindness became part of God’s greater plan for his life.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

The fruit may not always be seen immediately, but in His perfect time, God brings the increase. He works in every detail, in every circumstance, and in every life touched by His love.

To every sponsors whose heart is rooted in Christ in faithfully giving and providing needs and support, may God continue to bless you more, our thank yous will never be enough for the impact your generosity has made.

To the church, Crossroad Community Church, the teachers and volunteers, the ministry partners, and every family who came to support every child, you are God’s chosen peopl. Thank you for allowing yourselves to be used by God.

Every stomach we fill, every soul we nourish, every heart we embrace, and every life we touch, you came with us, you are part of this victorious story of Aaron. The work we do for the Lord is and will never be wasted. Every person who prayed, served, gave, taught, encouraged, and supported became part of the journey that God wrote for his life.

What started as a simple meal center ministry unknowingly became a pathway through which God’s Word, love, and blessings reached far beyond what anyone could have imagined. Today, Aaron stands as one of its fruits—a testimony that the seeds planted years ago continue to grow and multiply for the glory of God.

1Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

So let us continue planting seeds of faith. Let us continue serving, giving, loving, and reaching the next generation for Christ. God sees every act of faithfulness and promises the harvest in His perfect timing.

Aaron’s life is a beautiful reminder of that promise.

We would like to ask our Unsheltered International family to keep Dr. Travis Sharpe and his family in your prayers as they mourn the passing of his mother, Ms. Suzie Greene.

Granny, as she was affectionatley known by many around the Unsheltered ministry, was a woman of faith whose love, encouragement, and prayers touched the lives of many. While we all grieve this tremendous loss, we are grateful for the hope found in Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life and that we will see Granny again.

Please join us in praying for peace, comfort, and strength for the Sharpe family in the days ahead.

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." – Matthew 5:4
