We blinked… and somehow our baby boy is starting Pre-K. 💙📚

Our sweet 4-year-old is stepping into a whole new season—full of energy, curiosity, questions, wiggles, and a heart so kind and loving.

He’s learning to be independent, learning new things, making friends, and growing more every single day. But underneath all that independence is still our little boy who needs reassurance and encouragement.

Watching you grow up is the sweetest and hardest thing. We are so proud of the boy you are becoming, even if our hearts wish we could slow time down just a little.

Go learn.
Go play.
Go make friends.
Go be your silly, sweet, wiggly self.

And when you get home, your friends, and your family will all be right here waiting for you.

Happy First Day of Pre-K, Kaleb. We love you more than you’ll ever know. 💙📚

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽.

Give them the grocery bags to carry, even if they’re heavy.

Teach them how to work with their hands, serve with a willing heart, and take pride in doing the little things. As a parent, this is our job.

Will it be slower? Yes.

Will it be messy? Probably.

Will it be perfect? Not even close.

But one day, those little hands will become strong hands. Those little acts of helping will become a man’s character.

Our boys aren’t just children—we’re raising the next generation of husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of integrity.

They don’t need everything done for them. They need someone willing to patiently show them how.

The world needs young men who aren’t afraid of hard work, who know how to serve others without being asked.

So let them carry the bags.
Let them help.

Tell me I’m wrong…🤪
Having boys isn’t for the weak 😂

They said, “something was wrong at 20 weeks pregnant”
They said, “Would you like to continue the pregnancy”
They said, “He looks like he could be paralyzed”
They said, “they didn’t know what caused this”
They said, “he would never be able to walk”
They said, “he would be in a wheelchair”

But… GOD!

Kaleb is four years old now, and after several surgeries, searching for the right doctor, several different types of prosthetics, and weekly therapy, here he is…

Kaleb just finished his first season of BASEBALL #4

Kaleb got some awesome news!
We don't have to travel back to South Carolina again; we will only do telehealth calls yearly. The X-ray looked great, and he was pleased with his running. We are so thankful for the team at Shriners!!

The night we arrived, we found a wonderful Mexican restaurant and got to watch the Greenville Drive baseball team play. The next day, after Kaleb's appointment, we went to the Unity Park to celebrate before heading home and went up the Honor Tower (176 steps, but we took the elevator 😂)
