First we want to share how excited that all of our high school senior team members Wyatt Luddeke, Sawyer Parker, and Percy Torres signed with Blinn College on Friday as members of their incoming freshman livestock judging team. We are beyond proud of all of you and expect that we will be hearing great things. In the past several years DeWitt County has been proud to watch our kids judge as a Blinn Buc.

News from Louisville and NAILE - we had a great run and we have been on the road for the past 7 days.

Wyatt Luddeke Percy Torrez Sawyer Parker and Jackie Finney competed yesterday at the National 4H Judging Contest.

We have many people to thank

Prairie Veiw Angus Farms
Hummel Livestock
Wehmer Show Pigs
Real McCoy Genetics and Malcom
Steele Goats
Forsees Southdown Sheep
Double F Show Lambs

The workouts were amazing.

We left Louisville as the 6th Place Team in the Nation and High Point Reasons Team with Percy Torrez 2nd in Reasons, Sawye Parker 5th and Wyatt Luddeke 7th. Wyatt, and Percy both had two shout outs for high reasons sets and Sawyer one set. The team took 5th in Sheep.

And Wyatt and Sawyer were just out of the top 20. All in all not bad for an almost all high school team.

Thanks for all of your support along the way we couldn’t have done it without you.

The DeWitt County Livestock Judging group was busy today having camp. We worked hard learning all about livestock evaluation and getting our hands wet at reasons. So grateful for these new kids who have entered my life.
