I want to share this photo showing some of the highs and lows of feeding families.

This morning, through our partnerships with Hunger Task Force, Inc. and Feeding America, our shelves were fuller than they have been in months. Within 3 hours, we were almost cleaned out of everything.

We feed around 1,500 people each month. This morning, we fed 83 people.

Tonight, we are open 3-6 and expect most of this to be in the hands of families in the Cudahy and St. Francis communities.

We're grateful for every single apple, carrot, potato, and more that enters our space. We're grateful for this abundance, even if it was short-lived!

Your contributions make a huge difference, whether you shop for us or donate online. Every little bit helps!

Big thanks to the Cudahy WI Health Department, South Shore CARES, and Sugar Leaf Coffee Roasterie for this wonderful surprise! ☕️✨

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, they dropped off a beautiful "Brew a Better Day" care kit for Project Concern. Complete with locally roasted coffee, wellness conversation cards, and resource materials, this gift is a fantastic reminder of the power of connection and community support.

We are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful token of appreciation. It's going to brew up a lot of great conversations and smiles around here!

We wanted to take a moment today to thank a very special friend of the Pantry. (and try not to cry)

Jen's Sweet Treats has been a long-time supporter of Project Concern. Not only has she sponsored the treats for the Hunger Rumble and other events, she's also held many, many drives, personally helped Patrons, and so much more.

Every time we would stop in, she would ask about so-and-so or give us the name of someone she referred over. Or talk about the next project she was working on to support the Cudahy community.

Jen's heart never stops looking for the next person to help. She has been part of the backbone of our community, and we are going to miss her terribly. Missie is also going to miss her pulled pork mac and cheese on the days she forgot lunch. And the morning conversations when she needed a sweet treat before work.

Jen Clark is a great example of what unconditional love looks like, and we have been so very blessed to have been loved by her.

Jen and Cortney, we will miss you terribly, but we are so very excited for your next adventure!
