Operations Update: 3200 feet of pipe arrived today, enabling the replacement of the aging, deteriorating snowmaking pipe surrounding lift 4. This upgrade will facilitate higher pressure operations, significantly increasing snow production while reducing energy and labor costs. Additionally, a new front gate has been installed at the park entrance, boasting an impressive appearance.

Another donor has stepped up to donate 2/3 of the cost to purchase a used mini excavator. PSC has just purchased enough pipe to replace the remaining existing 45-year-old deteriorating pipe. The old pipe is extremely brittle and has been leaking and blowing out making it difficult to make snow efficiently. Our goal is to start installing the new pipe as soon as it arrives, but we are in need of a mini excavator. Not only can this tractor help us install pipe at a depth of 5 feet, but it can be used to build mountain bike trails in Cuchara Mountain Park. Our goal is to raise $6,000 and our anonymous donor will match up to 2/3 the cost of the tractor. Thank you to our generous donors.
