Five members of our Cub Run Club who are also members of the Sew & Sew Club participated in the Veteran’s Day program at the high school. The Sew & Sew club presented nineteen quilts to veterans this year.

Hart County Homemakers recently collected and presented stuffed animals to Hart County Sheriff’s Office. The stuffed animals are given to children in times of crisis (ie. domestic violence situations, car accidents, home fires, child abused cases or many other situations). We are thankful for the service provided by the sheriff’s office.

Reminder
Our Hart County Homemaker’s Annual Day is Thursday July 10 at the Hart County Library. Registration opens at 10:30 am. The cost for the luncheon is $20.00 and needs to be paid to the extension office by Thursday July 3. We hope to see you there!

Members of the Cub Run Homemakers enjoyed getting together early Wednesday to paint before our regular meeting. The projects are still in progress but we included a pic. Thanks to Pam Gonterman for the idea which everyone enjoyed.
