THE APPOINTED TIME
Text: Matthew 24:36; Galatians 4:4

Jesus said, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man… but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36). This does not deny His deity; it reveals His submission to the Father’s appointed time. Jesus came as fully God and fully man, willingly taking the role of a servant.
Notice something powerful: when Jesus was born, angels announced Him to the shepherds as “a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). Yet Jesus waited about 30 years before beginning His public ministry. Heaven had announced Him, but His manifestation waited for the appointed time.
Here is the revelation: God may reveal WHAT He will do without revealing WHEN He will do it. Jesus was announced before He was publicly manifested, and His return is promised even though the exact day remains hidden.
So never mistake waiting for denial. If God has spoken, trust His timing. The promise may be announced today, but the manifestation will come at the appointed time.
The promise is certain; the timing belongs to God.

The Candle That Refused to Go Out

During a terrible storm, the electricity went out, and the whole neighborhood was covered in darkness. In one small house, a single candle was lit. It did not complain that it was too small or that the darkness was too great. It simply burned.

Soon, neighbors came to borrow its flame. One candle lit another, then another, until the entire street was glowing with light.

The first candle never lost its flame by sharing it.

Moral: Never underestimate the impact of your kindness, encouragement, or faith. Even the smallest light can drive away great darkness and inspire others to shine.

Topic: Beyond What You Can Imagine
Text: Ephesians 3:20–21
"Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think."

First, God is about to exceed your expectations. Paul deliberately piles up the words exceedingly, abundantly, and above to show that heaven does not operate at the level of human limitation. What God has prepared for you cannot be contained by your prayers, your plans, or your imagination. Your next season will not be an improvement—it will be an overflow. What you thought was impossible is only the starting point for God's power.
Second, your greatest miracle is already connected to the power God has placed within you. The power that works in you is the same resurrection power of Christ. This means you are not waiting for God to become powerful—His power is already at work in you. As your faith responds in obedience, what is invisible will become visible, and what has been delayed will break forth at God's appointed time.
Verse 21 reminds us that when God does it, He alone gets the glory. Every testimony, every open door, every restoration, and every victory will become an announcement that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Topic: God Is Still Working
Scripture: Philippians 1:6 “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Sometimes we become discouraged because we do not see immediate results. We pray, but the answer seems delayed. We serve, but the fruit seems small. Yet the Word of God reminds us that whatever God begins, He is faithful to complete.
Your present situation is not your final destination. The God who brought you through yesterday is already working in your tomorrow. Delay does not mean denial, silence does not mean absence, and difficulty does not mean defeat. Even when you cannot see His hand, you can trust His heart.
So today, don't give up, don't lose hope, and don't stop believing. God is still working behind the scenes. Your story is not over, your purpose is still alive, and your best chapter may still be ahead of you.

Today's Inspiration
"God is never late; He is always on time."
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time... though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come." — Habakkuk 2:3
Sometimes the silence of God feels like delay, but His silence is never His absence. While you are waiting, God is working. He is aligning people, opening doors, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for what He has prepared for you. Every promise has an appointed time, and what God has ordained for your life cannot be stopped by people, circumstances, or delays.
Today, choose faith over fear, hope over discouragement, and praise over worry. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep moving forward. The same God who brought you this far will not leave you now. Your season of divine restoration is unfolding.
Be encouraged—your best is still ahead. God is faithful!
