💛 A huge thank you from the PTO for your continued support this year! Together, we did some amazing things Beacon community — check out the graphic below for a wrap up of the year.

🎉Together we raised funds to send our students on field trips next year!! Transportation is the biggest financial barrier to field trips, and we are so thankful for all who gave their time, energy, and financial assistance to our fundraisers this year.

🐔 A special visitor stopped by Beacon Academy Charter School yesterday to bring you an important announcement!

Every little bit helps, so Mr. Clucks is challenging us to a "Buck Challenge". Everyone is encouraged to bring at least 1 dollar to donate tomorrow! 1 dollar bill...perfect! 4 quarters? Fantastic! Every donation brings us closer to reaching our $10,000 goal and the ability to send our students on field trips next year!

💙 Keep up the good work and don’t forget, every little bit helps! If each family raised $28, we would reach our $10,000 goal. Every amount is appreciated!

💛 Let’s see how fast we can earn $7,500 for an out of uniform day - we all know how much our students love those!

🧺 Don’t forget to join us on Thursday at the End of Year picnic from 6-7:30pm to celebrate a fabulous year of Beacon with food trucks, inflatables, cotton candy, and family fun!

💰 The Beacon Dash Fundraiser is starting Monday and we’re kicking it off with a Spirit Wear day!! Students can wear Spirit Wear tops with uniform bottoms on Monday May 11.

💙 See the email sent Friday with all the details for the next 2 weeks. The Dash is a direct ask campaign to help fund the PTO initiatives next year!

🦦 Teacher & Staff Appreciation is in full swing this week! Tuesday lunch was provided by the PTO and staff enjoyed an Italian feast!

🎨 Families came to decorate the halls with signs of appreciation - lots of fun creative posters and door decorations went up!

⚽️ Elementary wings will also see some new additions by the recess doors! We’re excited to see some new gear put to use!

💙Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is Here💛

Beacon Academy has the best teachers and staff around (in our humble opinion) and we are excited to show them the love this week!! Find a way to tell your teacher or favorite staff person how much you appreciate the time, care, and energy they bring to our school.

There is a binder in the main office with “favorites” sheets if you need ideas for what they might like - just ask an office staff member to take a look!

🦦 Join us Tuesday @ Beacon from 4-5 for Chalk the Walk and/or create a Sign of Appreciation to put on your teachers door or hallway! Basic supplies will be provided by the PTO but bring whatever you’d like to be creative! 🎨

🦦 Stay for the PTO meeting at 5:30 to help us wrap up a great school year with our big fundraiser - The Beacon Dash!
