Members of the WMFRD Firefighters Relief Association will be joining in the fight against hunger this Saturday, March 18th from 11-1pm! Come and visit us and make a donation of food or cash at the Cub in Crystal (36th Ave & Hwy 100), the Cub in Plymouth (42nd Ave and Hwy 169), Almsted’s in Crystal, Aldi in Crystal, or Hyvee in New Hope!
The employees and families of the West Metro Fire-Rescue District are proud to present the 12th Annual “Firefighters Fighting Hunger” food-drive!
The West Metro Fire-Rescue District employees in partnership with our Auxiliary, Explorers and families will be fighting hunger in our communities on Saturday, March 18th from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations to benefit The Food Group (formerly the Emergency Foodshelf Network). Please visit your local grocery store, pick up some food items to contribute or simply make a cash donation to the fire boot; we will have Fire Department vehicles at collection points at grocery store parking lots in the area we serve (we will be at the Crystal Cub at 36th Ave & Hwy 100; Aldi in Crystal; Almsteds Fresh Market in Crystal; HyVee in New Hope & the Cub in Plymouth at 42nd Ave & Hwy 169).
