The Copiah Chapter DAR is selling veteran wreaths once again! They are $17 for a live wreath with a big red velvet bow. Message me for a form or you can order online at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/MS0059P or mail me a check made out to WAA. The ceremony at the Crystal Springs City Cemetery is Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. Deadline to order online is Dec. 3rd and through me is Nov. 30th. You CAN specify a different Copiah Co. cemetery where a wreath can be placed; HOWEVER, you will need to message me after ordering online and let me know or send payment through me. Otherwise, I will have no way of knowing. Message me with any questions and thank you for your support!

As we honor our veterans today, don't forget to purchase a wreath to be placed on his/her gravesite. This event is sponsored by the DAR Copiah Chapter. The deadline to purchase wreaths is November 29th. You can pick up a form at City Hall or contact Tricia Nelson.

Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at 2:00 veteran wreaths will be laid in the cemetery for Wreaths Across America. Join us for a brief ceremony and then the wreath-laying. Contact Tricia Nelson to sponsor a wreath for $15. Sales end at the end of Nov.

This Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., we will have a brief ceremony before laying veteran wreaths. We will also have flags for those without wreaths. Everyone is invited to attend.

This Saturday, Dec. 15th, at 2:00 p.m. there will be a wreath-laying ceremony. We will place Christmas wreaths on veterans graves as part of the Wreaths Across America program. We would appreciate volunteers helping to place wreaths. Sites have already been flagged. OR just come out and enjoy the ceremony as we honor our veterans.
