Our club will be celebrating our 48th year in July! We love serving our community and friendship. Come learn about our Florida District Pilot Scholarship five houses that we have in Florida. A very unique project that we are proud of.

What a great social tonight for the Pilot Club of Crystal River. We hung out at YaiYai’s tonight. Wine, cheese and crackers. Then we got to test out make up. Thank you Gail Granger for putting together our social night. It was a great way for our new member Shauna Martin to get to know everyone. We were missing Nancy Wilson, Stephanie Price, Celeste Lewaniak, and Christina DiPiazza! Can’t wait to see what next social we come up with!

The Pilot Club of Crystal River was in the local paper again for our scholarships to WTC students.

Christina DiPiazza and Olga Adams from our club manned the Lost and found and the first aid station at the NAMI walk at Lecanto High School tonight.

We made the paper again!!! Cindi Executive Director of NAMI was our guest speaker at our April Meeting. We presented a $200 donation. May 2nd is the Glo Walk for NAMI at Lecanto High School. Some of the members will be there to help. Last year we helped with the Registration Table. Interested in coming to a meeting to check us? Just message us and we would love to have you!

I had the pleasure of attending the Gulf to Lakes Derby Bunco today. It was a great time. I got to do a rolloff for the most Bunco wins, which is awesome but I didn’t win the rolloff and that’s OK. I did win a basket and I also won a door prize. So much fun thank you ladies for a great job ladies.

Last night was an amazing night for incoming governor Leila. The past governors participated in passing the gavel. We are blessed to have a great board for our coming year. We also installed our Pilot scholarship House foundation board as well.

It was a great evening tonight. I was so happy to see some of my board members that served with me during my year as governor in 2008 2009. From left or right Lieutenant Governor Rene’ Naughton, Lieutenant Governor Barbara McKinstry, then of course me as the governor, Lieutenant governor Mary Jane McMillan, and my treasurer Nancy Bierma. These ladies were amazing to have on my team and what is really spectacular. is that all of them moved up and became a governor for the Florida District I am honored to know them and have them as my friends forever. Till we see each other next year, I cannot wait till we’re at fall council then we take the next picture again thank you for being my friend.

NANCY WILSON and I are attending the Florida District Pilot international Convention in Lake Mary.  so much fun catching up with our Pilot friends and making new friends at the same time. This is our business meeting where we do our voting and we will also this evening be installing our new officers that will take office on July 1. Our incoming Governor also has made appointments for different chair people. They’ll be more pictures later. We had a table at marketplace with our Pilot wheel of Fortune. It’s always a great success for us.
