Happy Juneteenth! We are beyond thrilled and ecstatic to announce that we've reached a major milestone - just shy of 100 pieces of art with bids already! WOW!! This is an incredible response, and we're so grateful to everyone who has participated so far! However, we're not done yet! There are still over 100 original mini works of art that don't have a bid yet, and we can't wait to see them find their forever homes.

For anyone who is new to the bidding process for the 6x6 PROJECT Art Auction, and to make it easy to understand (we hope), here are the basics of how to bid. Note: The screen shots are what it will look like from a smart phone. The view on a computer or tablet will be slightly different.

To bid, first you must register with a valid credit card at charityauction.bid/6x6project2026
Once you are signed in as a bidder, click on the button 'View Art & Start Bidding Here' and it brings you to the 'Art Auction' page. Browse through the art and click on the image(s) to show the bidding screen. The default is set to 'Quick Bid Mode', but click on 'Bid custom amount' to set a higher bid immediately. You can also set an optional "maximum amount you are willing to bid up to".

Set your Max Bid
Enter your max bid and let Auctria bid for you automatically until someone outbids you. If you have the winning bid, you will only pay what’s needed to win — never more than your max.

Example: Joe places a max bid amount of $100 for #123 and bid immediately of $35. Another bidder, Amy, bids $40 but gets an outbid notice as Joe's maximum bid has been set way above that, but now the bid is set to $45. Amy would have to bid $105 to beat Joe's maximum bid of $100. If Amy doesn't continue to bid and no one else bids on #123, Joe will have the winning bid at the end of the auction of $45, even though his maximum bid is set to $100.

Sniper-Friendly
Last-minute bids = extra time. If someone bids in the final 3 mins, the clock extends by 5 more. Another snipe? Another 5. Max extension is 10 mins.

Only 10 more days until the 6x6 PROJECT Art Auction bidding ends!! There are over 200 original mini masterpieces and only about a 1/3 of them have bids already. Bids start at a steal of $35 but you can bid as high as you feel comfortable. Get started at charityauction.bid/6x6project2026.

Each 6” x 6” masterpiece has been created and donated to help support the life-changing arts education programs of Mission Imagination and Raue Center School For The Arts. Since 2001, these programs have enriched the lives of more than 20,000 children each year throughout our local community.

It's free to attend, but we're encouraging everyone to get a FREE ticket by going to the event site. So come out and view the art up close, mingle with the talented artists, and check out what's happening at Raue Center.

We're doing the People's Choice Award again so you can vote for your favorite piece of art. Awards are being presented to the top pieces of art chosen by the 6x6 PROJECT Committee.
