Scouting provides youth with the foundations needed for leadership, service, good citizenship, strong moral behavior, and a healthy work ethic—so that they not only contribute to society but are adequately prepared for whatever uncertainties the future may bring.

Additionally, Scouting offers rewarding activities, learning new skills, making memories with friends and family, outdoor adventures, and other one-of-a-kind experiences while building strong moral character teaching young people to confront any challenge wholeheartedly to do their very best.

We’re inviting boys 11-17 interested in Scouting to come out to the Nunda Township campground (in Crystal lake) this Saturday, November 16th, to join them for a day of fun activities and lunch at their Troopsgiving event! Stop by anytime between 10am-6pm!

The scouts will teach kids different styles of fire building, we'll have a hike, play games, try orienteering, and other fun.
Lunch is included so come out to this free event an see how much fun scouting can be for your family!

Enjoy a morning or afternoon (first come, first serve) of shooting and supporting Scouting in the process!

Friday PM flight- 1:00pm start time
Opportunity to visit the cowboy action shooting range; followed by drinks & a steak dinner!

Saturday AM flight- 8:00am start time
Opportunity to network and get your team photo taken followed by a porkchop lunch...YUM!

Saturday afternoon flight- noon porkchop lunch
Opportunity to purchase gun raffle tickets followed by a 12:30
start time.

Congratulations Mike on completing your Eagle Scout project for our chartered organization, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake. And great job to the scouts, leaders, and family members who helped out today! These flag retirement boxes will be a great way for the people in our community to be able to properly dispose of worn, torn, and/or damaged American flags.
