Volunteer Center Building Capacity of Nonprofit Organizations and the communities they serve. We are located at 620 Dakota St, Crystal Lake, IL 60012.

Not-for-Profit Resources, formerly Volunteer Center McHenry County plays an integral role in delivering best practices, professional development workshops, resources and volunteer connectivity to nonprofits. Our mission is to help build the capacity of nonprofit organizations and our objectives include:

•Developing standard educational programs and tracks for nonprofits to improve their ability t

o provide services.
•Creating direct channels for individuals, groups, and businesses to connect with and expand nonprofit manpower through meaningful service.
•Fortifying nonprofit organizations by raising their ability to create diverse fundraising streams.
•Fostering collaborations among nonprofits and community by creating network groups that encourage relationship building

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Thanks to our generous partners including the United Way of Greater McHenry County, Community Foundation for McHenry County, McHenry County Mental Health Board and McHenry County Department of Planning & Development, our agency has been providing services in the community since 2009.
