The video of the Chattanooga police officer making grabs during a house fire reminds us of this quote from Dave LeBlanc.

Our scorn of VSP isn't so much about it being a over-exemplified size-up skill but that it carries an ethical and moral dilemma, incorrect data and does not come with 'what if you are wrong' support.

You do you, but don't rely only on what it looks like from the outside to determine survivability.
