Crystal Lake Raiders Youth Football & Cheer League Welcome to the OFFICIAL page of Crystal Lake Raiders Youth Football & Cheer League since 1981.

Crystal Lake Raiders is a premier youth football league and cheer program in Crystal Lake, IL, with a commitment to inclusivity. Our non-profit community program is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about providing a safe and positive sports experience for all children aged 5-14. As proud members of The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL) and the Illinois Recreation

al Cheerleading Association (IRCA), we prioritize safety, training, and equipment to ensure that all of our participants can play and cheer with confidence. With 40 years of experience, we prioritize teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship, creating a fun and enriching experience for all children who participate. As a program aligned with Crystal Lake South & Central High School, we facilitate a seamless transition for young athletes from youth to high school sports. Our commitment to inclusivity means that we offer programs for children of all abilities and backgrounds, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop their skills in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. Our mission is to foster personal growth, skill development, and goal achievement for every participant, both on and off the field and mat.

REPRESENT RAIDER NATION AT LAKESIDE FEST!

The Crystal Lake Raiders are looking for volunteers to help represent our organization at The Dole during Lakeside Fest on Friday, July 3rd!

We're looking for:
⭐ 4 volunteers from 11:45 AM – 2:45 PM
⭐ 6 volunteers from 5:15 PM – 8:15 PM

Volunteer responsibilities include:
🎟️ Selling admission tickets
🪪 Checking IDs
🎫 Applying wristbands
😊 Greeting and assisting festival guests

Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.

This is a great opportunity to support the Raiders, give back to our community, and help showcase what Raider Nation is all about! Whether you're a football parent, cheer parent, alumni, coach, or supporter, we'd love to have you join us.

It's time for our 2026 Sideline Cheer Uniform Fitting and Parent Meeting. This meeting is required for all sideline cheer families and will provide important information about the upcoming season.

Monday, June 22nd
🕔 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 The MAC, Crystal Lake

📅 Uniform Fitting
Monday, June 22nd
🕕 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 The MAC, Crystal Lake

Uniform fitting is required for all athletes. Uniforms and shoes are purchased and owned by families, with payment due at the time of sizing. We will be reusing uniforms from last season. The uniform cost for returning athletes is $75.

A $300 refundable equipment deposit is required at equipment pickup and must be paid by check or money order. The deposit will only be processed if equipment is not returned at the end of the season.

All 2026 Spring and Fall registered Raiders football and cheer athletes are invited to participate as we proudly represent our organization and celebrate 45 years of Raider tradition in Crystal Lake.

📍 Meet at Home State Bank on N. Walkup Ave.
🕛 Athlete Check-In: 12:00 PM
🎉 Parade Begins: 1:00 PM

**This is a 2026 Spring and Fall registered athlete-only event. Parents and siblings are welcome to cheer along the parade route but may not walk with the Raiders group.**

✨ That’s a wrap on 2026 ICA Camp Castaway! ✨

What an incredible few days filled with fun, friendship, new skills, and unforgettable memories. From early morning sunrises to cheering alongside teammates, our athletes worked hard, learned so much, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

We’re proud of all the growth, dedication, and Raider spirit shown throughout camp. Thank you, ICA Camp Castaway, for another amazing experience!
