Can't wait to hear all about it! Way to go Scouts!

And just like that… the first crew of the summer has officially conquered the swamp! They paddled 61.6-miles through the heart of the Atchafalaya Swamp and have made memories they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives. Great job y’all!

Troop 194's first ever high adventure! Our Scouts are having a great time paddling with the gators at BSA Swamp Base!

The first crew of Scouts are officially on the water this morning! This group came to Swamp Base from the Scouting America, Blackhawk Area Council in Illinois. Have a great high adventure trek y’all!

Congratulations to Tristen, Lucas, Dylan, and Noah for completing a successful week of NYLT! And thanks to our SPL Logan and our Scoutmaster Mr. Shawn for serving on staff - it takes a huge commitment from a lot of people to run a successful course, and Blackhawk Area Council does a fantastic job! We can't wait to see all of the exciting changes in these Scouts as they put their new leadership skills to use!

Troop 194 Ice Cream Explorers had an amazing day at the Sycamore Yeti Quest Klondike Derby! We came home with the Sycamore Spirit Award; 3rd Overall Team; 1st Place in Ice Rescue, Animal Tracks, and Orienteering; 2nd Place in Snowshoe Relay and Sled Race; 3rd Place in Blind Tent Setup. The boys worked so well together and had a great time!

We wanted to congratulate Ethan for passing his Eagle Board of Review last night! Ethan will be our first Eagle Scout in the Troop since we started in 2020. Congrats Ethan on a job well done!
