We are excited to be the host site for the 3rd Annual Forest Park School District Cross Country Invitational!

This year there will be eight small school attending, with the first runners taking off at 2 pm CT. Event order is as follows: varsity boys, varsity girls, middle school boys, middle school girls. The public is encouraged to attend. Come on out and cheer on these hardworking athletes on this beautiful day!

Save the date for Fall Fest 2026! Join us on Saturday, October 3 for continental breakfast, draffle baskets, the Country Store, and the premier event: the LIVE Quilt Auction! Everything kicks off at 9:30 am CT, with the auction beginning promptly at 11 am.

And, as always, if you can't make it in-person, be sure to participate in our VIRTUAL Auction, which runs September 23 - October 3.

Our Sisters of the Cloth have been busily sorting all of the beautiful quilts that have come in for Fall Fest 2026, some which they've made, and others donated by quilters from throughout our region. Check out these two works of art! THANK YOU ALL QUILTERS! It's sure to be another incredible fundraiser for the ministry of Fortune Lake.

Summer camp has come to a close, but we’re still hoppin’! Camp has been full of rental groups including another licensed youth camp, family gatherings, denominational partners, and community groups.

Check out these photos from the Hansen Family Reunion. The group enjoyed lots of outdoor time including games, campfires, swimming, and even a pirate themed pontoon ride complete with a treasure hunt!

Fortune Lake is a great space to host your event. With private sleeping quarters, gathering spaces, and lots of outdoor recreation, there is something for everyone. Most lodging spaces have kitchens, or we can discuss foodservice for groups of 15 or more.

Q: What’s a sure sign that summer camp has come to a close?
A: The packing up of the water trampoline and blob.

Today Chris was all smiles as he used the recently repaired John Deere tractor to move the Aqua Jump to its offseason home. He has worked tirelessly all summer with his small but mighty crew to deliver a fun, safe, comfortable experience for our campers and guests. We are so grateful!

Join us in thanking Chris and the maintenance team for another summer well done! We couldn’t do this work without them.

Now on to rental season…

Our beloved Camp Intern, Carolynn, has her last day today. We are so grateful for her and all of the ways she’s represented Fortune Lake over the past 8 months. Last night we celebrated and thanked God for her! Please join us in thanking Carolynn and praying for her in all that is to come.

We had a phenomenal week in Escanaba! What a way to close out the day camp season! We are grateful for all day campers, hosts, volunteers, and families who made this summer so amazing!
