I’m so grateful to Chantal for her kind words and for inviting me to be part of this important event. As a survivor, speaking about domestic violence is deeply personal to me. I hope sharing my story helps someone feel seen, supported, and reminded that they are not alone. 💜
Please join us October 10 from 5–9 PM as we raise awareness and support survivors. Together, we can help end domestic violence.

🦃🍂 HELP US FILL THANKSGIVING TABLES! 🍂🦃

Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Last year, with the help of our wonderful community, Second Hand Heros was able to provide Thanksgiving meals to 167 families. ❤️ And each year, the number of families needing a little extra help continues to grow.

This year, we’re preparing to provide Thanksgiving meals with all the fixings once again—and we need our community’s help to make it happen!

🛒 FOOD & MONETARY DONATIONS ARE NEEDED!

The flyer shows the food items we need most.

Don’t have time to shop? Monetary donations are just as helpful! Venmo or Cash App QR code on the flyer. We can also take cash, check and card. Your donation will be used to purchase food and any items we’re still short on to help complete Thanksgiving meals for local families. 🧡

Every donation makes a difference. Whether it’s a bag of groceries, $5, $10, $20, or whatever you’re able to give—it all adds up when a community comes together.

📍 Food donations can be dropped off at Second Hand Heros.
113 Mississippi Ave., Crystal City, MO 63028.
For alternative drop-off locations or questions call: 636-209-7372 or reach out to: Valerie Knisley-Lee
[email protected]

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: We are collecting DONATIONS ONLY at this time.

Information on signing up to receive Thanksgiving assistance will be announced at a later date.

🦃 DONATE • SHARE • HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! 🦃

167 families last year—let’s come together again and make sure even more of our neighbors can sit down to a Thanksgiving meal this year. ❤️🍁
