Hello Everyone, feel free to join us for our first Pack Meeting on the year Sept 5 @6:00

05/07/2024

Good Morning Lions Den,

We are supposed to have a meeting this Friday, but I am still waiting to hear if we can visit the Waugh Chapel fire department on Saturday morning. Hopefully I will have an answer today. If the station visit is on, then we will not meet Friday at 6:00 but instead meet at the fire department Saturday morning. Otherwise we will have our normal meeting on Friday.

We are supposed to have a meeting this week to stay on schedule. However we really only have one more thing to cover for the lions this year. The scouts have to learn what to do in an emergency and meet and learn about someone who provides a service to the community. This can be achieved by a visit to a fire station or a police station. I am going to reach out to a few leaders and see if I can get in contact with a station that will give us a tour and talk to scouts.

So no meeting this week and we can get back on schedule on May 3rd.

I hope everyone had a happy Easter break!

There will not be a den meeting this week but there will be a pack meeting to celebrate the AOL’s moving up to Boy Scouts. I hear there will be cake. Hope to see everyone there.

We still have the hike planned for Saturday April 6. I will be sending an email out later tonight with address and time for the hike.
