Our Backyard Bash is officially in the books! Saturday our Jr & Sr High students came together for one final hurrah of the summer season before Youth Groups kick-off this month!

Congrats to the winning team of our game competition - Brynn, Ethon, Paige, Philip and Nolan! They scored the most points and won the Tug-of-War tie breaker. Each of them received a $15 gift card.

Students enjoyed hot dogs, burgers, sides and an ice cream sundae bar along with team competition games including slip n slide contest, giant volleyball, greased watermelon relay, burrito bandito, and an obstacle course gauntlet with slime and water balloons. The event ended with an epic color powder free for all!

It has been a week for all of us in NWI for real, but hopefully has also been a time to reflect on the goodness, mercy, provision and presence of the LORD our God. What a blessing to still gather in fellowship and worship this morning!

HS Students Leo & Abby blessed us with a lovely orchestral arrangement of “How Great Thou Art” for the offertory during services.

Food for thought this week as everyone gets back into a routine: How can we continue to bring our best offering before the Lord and use our gifts for His glory?
