Sorry to get back to everyone so late this year. This year we have decided to do something a little different with that being said we will be picking random people to receive assistance this year!!! I do realize most people are on our page because they themselves need assistance but this year I want you all to remember the true meaning of Christmas being thankful for what we do have and the birth of Christ the reason we celebrate. Even if all Santa can bring is a coloring book or a toy from the dollar store be thankful for togetherness! You may nominate someone you know for assistance, I will not be replying to all messages as we may not choose the family you nominate we will also be picking people on the page and not on the page. The person you nominate doesn't have to have the saddest story it may just be a single parent that works hard to pay the bills, or a family that they have lost their jobs everyone goes through hard times and you may be the one to show that family the kindness to keep them hopeful for the future. I appreciate all of the kind words and thanks we received last year even with the event canceled I even appreciate the awful messages we received because it showed me not only can the holidays bring out the best in people but the worst and I think a lot of that is many of us have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas so this year pay it forward and nominate a family you believe could use an extra blessing this year and be their Christmas angel!!! I hope you all have a merry Christmas and God bless you all!!!

I write this with a very heavy heart tonight our Christmas event will be cancelled this year. Due to the overwhelming amount of scammers in this group you know who you are they have ruined the event for the whole group. We wanted to help out families that truly needed the help and cannot afford anything for their families but instead I ended up with people just looking for free stuff. I know their are families that really need the help in this group but it has become to hard to tell the difference so we can thank those scammers for ruining it for everyone. Instead I will be taking all of the gifts and having my children pass them out at the children's hospital. I have been absent from this page because I was so upset that so many of you would lie and try to take a spot that a family in need could really use the help. I was taking the time to decide how to handle the situation and what to even say so I have decided honesty is the best everyone should know why I was canceling and why I haven't answered any messages or posts I was very heartbroken over this whole situation. For those of you that really needed the help I am truly sorry and for those of you that have lied and tried to scam shame on you for taking such a wonderful thing and spitting all over it. I have put so much time and effort into this event it's truly saddening. God Bless you all and I hope you all have a blessed Christmas with your families.

Going threw some of these applications I was very upset to learn that my applications have been duplicated. I have recieved more applications than were mailed which should be impossible since many familes i have talked to have not even got a chance to mail them back yet. This is going to slow down my application process greatly since I will now have to match application names to my list I have mailed. Information from your applications will be verified in various ways including social media sites.
