Crown Point Pack 48 Cub Scouts

Crown Point Pack 48 Cub Scouts Cub Scout Pack 48, chartered by St. Matthias Catholic Church, is based in Crown Point, Indiana. Cub Scouting means "doing." Cub Scouting is fun!

Cub Scout Pack 48 has been an active program in Crown Point for 75 years! We have a great group of Den Leaders and volunteers dedicated to making the best Cub Scout experience possible for all the scouts in the Pack. Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the scouts doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal f

itness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings. Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a scout's sense of belonging. Trash the Trash 🗑️ was so much fun! Our Pack 48 scouts cleaned up the grounds and our charter organization St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church and filled the dumpster. They found some pretty interesting things, very large pieces of plastic and building debris from local home construction.

Great job, scouts!
