CONGRATULATIONS RCAC WINNERS!
The Crowley Art Association held the 37th Annual Rice Capital Art Competition Awards and Gala at the CAA Gallery on Friday, May 8. Sponsors of the event included Cultural and Creative Arts, LLC. Double L Custom, First National Bank, Harmon Greenhouse Nursery, Harold Letz, Red Bird Vintage Market, RonkARTz Studio, and the Stephen M. Ronkartz Family.
Guests were treated to wine, cheese, sandwiches, punch, and cookies while they viewed the collection of outstanding artwork on display. Thirty-one pieces of art were entered in the categories of paintings, drawings, 3-D, and other. Judges were Ange Reihl and Samantha Ronkartz of Lafayette and Shirley Griffin of Crowley.

Keepsake Art Exploration $25 Patty Ronkartz - Facilitator
Participants in this 3-day class will explore a variety of art media and techniques while creating keepsake pieces they will treasure forever. Materials provided. (Different projects from 6-9 year old class)

The 2026 Rice Capital Art Competition awards and gala will take place on Friday, May 8, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Crowley Art Association Gallery. The wine and cheese gala and awards ceremony is free to the public. There are 31 fabulous pieces of original art in the competition which will be on display through May 22.
