We are dedicated to saving dogs at risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters & found as strays locally and in southern states.

Our senior gal Blue is going under surgery once more to remove cancerous tumors.

Blue was diagnosed with not one, but TWO forms of cancer that are growing on top of one another.

When she went under last month, our vet removed the largest tumor with clean margins. When he spayed her, he said she had one of the worst cases of pyometra hes ever seen. Her uterus was completely filled with pus.

We're angry that both the mammary cancer and pyometra would have been completely preventable had she been spayed years ago.

We're going to do our best to help buy Blue a few more years of time so she can live comfortably.

We are raising money for her surgery Tuesday and are running low on funds. If you can help, any amount is appreciated.

Thank you all for your messages, donations and words of encouragement! We have positive news about our gal Dumpling.

The injury to her eye damaged her eyelid only, and right now it is very inflamed. She did not damage the surface of her eye or scratch/puncture her cornea. Fortunately the other pup in the scuffle did not experience any injuries.

Right now she is taking eye meds (swipe to see), pain meds and anti inflammatory meds. We will continue to monitor her and hope the swelling goes down over the course of the week.

Thank you for your support. She was not our only emergency over the weekend. All funds raised help us recover our emergency fund.

🚨 EMERGENCY: DUMPLING NEEDS OUR HELP 🚨

Our sweet Dumpling was involved in an accidental altercation with another dog today that resulted in a puncture to her eye.

She is at the emergency vet now receiving care, and we’re waiting to learn the full extent of her injury and what treatment she’ll need.

We never expect these emergencies, and the costs can add up quickly. If you can help us get Dumpling the care she needs, any donation—no matter how small—means so much.

Foster or Adopter needed in NY, NJ or CT starting 10.10!

Approx 2 weeks ago, we traveled to Houston to visit and connect with our rescue family.

We asked Rosas, a local independent rescuer to show us around Cleveland, TX and where the stray pups hide.

Thats where we met Adelaide. She was hiding in an aqueduct drain under the road, scared to come out. Once we started feeding other more confident pups, she slowly poked her head out and approached us.

Addy girl is submissive and was covered in bite wounds from other dogs. We knew we couldn't leave her there.

Everything lined up and she slowly started to blossom. She is now transport ready and looking for a northern foster or adoptive home.

Addy is dog and people friendly. We are unsure about cats. She hasn't been formally tested with kids but we imagine with her timid nature, 5 or 6 and up would be best.
