Their participants come from different backgrounds; they are survivors of sexual trafficking, foster care children, residents at juvenile detention centers or treatment centers and girls at runaway shelters. The goal is to help girls overcome their trauma, move towards positive change, and build skills of self-awareness, self-regulation, and resilience. With the tools offered by CYP, the girls find the confidence they need to change their lives and perspective. The organization partners with these institutions to provide a CYP curriculum that has a proven positive impact on the girls’ lives.
