Discover the ancient Japanese art of Kumihimo, a mesmerizing braiding technique that transforms simple cords into stunning jewelry. In this hands-on class, students will learn to create an intricate bracelet or necklace using vibrant threads and patterns. All equipment and supplies necessary for the class will be provided. No experience needed. This class takes place October 13 9:30 AM- 12:30 PM

Have you always wanted to get into painting with acrylics? Do you want to learn a fun and relaxing new hobby? Anita Kummer is teaching Acrylic Painting on Lace for Beginners, where she will provide easy-to-follow instructions and a lovely selection of patterns from which to choose. All materials are provided. Join us Tuesday, October 6, from 10 AM- 12 PM. This class is offered at very special pricing of $30 for nonmembers and $25 for Arts Center members. A keychain fit for a princess or Japanese samurai! Kid’s Kumihimo, our first children’s class of the year, will teach children both the skill and the history of this fun and easy braiding technique. This class is intended for children age 8-14 and will take place Saturday, September 26.
