Creative Compassion recently had the opportunity for our very own, Christy and Sarah, to meet with Chelsea Merrell, State Field Director for U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn, to share more about the work being done across Tennessee to address affordable housing needs.
Opportunities like this matter deeply to organizations like ours. Having meaningful conversations with state leadership and their teams helps bring greater awareness to the housing challenges facing communities throughout the Upper Cumberland and beyond โ while also highlighting the impact that collaboration and community-driven solutions can make.
We are grateful for the time spent learning more about our mission, our programs, and the people we serve each day through housing stability initiatives, home repairs, accessibility work, and affordable housing development.
As Creative Compassion continues to grow, conversations like these give us hope for stronger partnerships, greater awareness, and expanded opportunities to create lasting impact for families across our region and state.
Thank you to Chelsea Merrell for taking the time to visit, listen, and learn more about the heart behind our work. ๐ค
