Yesterday, the Crossville Noon Rotary Club had the privilege of hearing from House of Hope Executive Director Denise Melton about the incredible work this organization is doing for vulnerable children in our region.
Named in memory of Hope Manning, a young girl who lost her life to child abuse, House of Hope has been providing love, safety, and support to abused, neglected, drug-endangered, and at-risk children since 2004. The organization operates a home-like transitional care facility that can accommodate up to 11 children while they await placement with foster families, relatives, or other appropriate care arrangements.
Denise shared that their ultimate goal is simple but powerful: to help children overcome trauma and become successful, thriving adults. House of Hope serves children not only from Cumberland County but from numerous counties across Tennessee, providing a safe haven during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Rotary is grateful for organizations like House of Hope that work tirelessly to make a difference in our community. They are always in need of volunteers, donations, and community support to continue their mission of protecting and caring for children in crisis.
