Can you guess the breed? Because I know Louie is an Australian Shepherd (he even has a naturally bobbed tail), but something else explains his big ole head and his…bulk. When I first saw his pic I immediately thought St. Benard/Aussie mix & now I don’t know why I thought that. He’s about 3 years old, whatever he is. And he is so fearful…of nearly everything. BUT…he likes to be petted & he’ll look over at you when you stop. Tonight, he even kind of pushed his head back to my hand when I stopped, so that’s an important milestone. He would absolutely thrive with a patient foster. One bonus is that you don’t have to bend over to pet him! All he needs is kindness & patience & lots of pets until he feels safe. Making a difference in a dog like this life will be a cherished memory & you will never regret it

Pearl is the happiest pup there is 🐾❣️ Even when she’s pancaked on the turf, wondering if someone will bring her a treat for playing so sweetly with the others because standing up seems so unreasonable 🐾❣️
Although she’s deaf, her vision in the one eye is supernatural. You can rarely tell she has less than perfect vision. As far as I can tell she is perfection in the most irresistible ways‼️
I don’t know how I’ll ever choose an adopter for her. Partly because I’ll be so absurdly picky and secondly because I never want to let her go. But she’s not the first and likely not the last that I’ll give up when not one cell in my body wants to.

This perfect little lady is Pearl & I was instantly her biggest fan 🥰 She was dumped in Celina at a nursing home. Some as***le did me the biggest favor‼️ You see, she is even more special than you think. She is deaf & completely blind in her tiny eye. She has vision in the other eye. I don’t know if it’s perfect, but she sure is. She moves around the house and the dogs with no problems. She goes outside and down the few steps to the patio & comes back in when she’s ready. SHE COULD NOT BE SWEETER ❣️She will give you love whenever you have the need. She will sit quietly to be petted. I don’t care if she is ever fostered or adopted. She’s my new best friend and she’s gets me. If there exists an adopter that can meet my obscenely high standards for Pearl, she’ll be ready soon enough. Don’t rush me! I mean, shortly.

This yummy little Bichon Frise is Darby, he’s about 6 years old & he looking for a place to call home and someone to call family. He is very friendly & great with other dogs. Darby is a Benefactor dog, meaning his adoption donation is higher than some others and will be used to help pay for some health issues for older dogs. Please, apply now! 5 easy, breezy adoptions yesterday! Except Celina, she & her sissy have been in rescue 8 months! Flipp was with us for several months while he was with his terrific foster, who failed completely, getting his treatment for heart worms. Callie, Arlo, Bailey…I mean, have you seen them? They weren’t here very long either. Great week in rescue! Great work by our fosters and our team!

After running the neighborhood for more than a week, curling up on people’s porches to stay dry…begging to come inside…being eaten alive by ticks….I named him DASH. It may be related to his wanderlust or it may be Dash Riprock. If you don’t know who that is, ask your parents. Who am I kidding? Ask your grandparents 🤭 Trust me, he was good-looking & did his best to charm Ellie Mae. And this cutie is quite a charmer ❣️🐾

This precious Beagle beauty is Bailey 💙🐾
She’s about 2 years old & only 20 teeny tiny pound of absolute sweetness. She does not have a shy cell in her body. I can never find a negative thing to say about any Beagle, but this little girl has a special spark about her. Seriously. If you have the joy of meeting her, you’ll recognize it right away
She’s all ready to go be the best dog some lucky person ever had!
