Another successful Pathfinder Sabbath. I am so proud of our young people for leading out in the service last February 14. It really is a good training ground for our young people. Thank you to all the parents who came and the staff who were always there for our young people.

Comets participated in fundraising event through "canning". Many volunteers went out 2 Saturdays in a row, went door-to-door, and asked for donations.
Church members also participated: some gave "goods" and others gift certificates.
Together we were able to bless 10 families from Plateau Pregnancy services( my understanding was the baskets were given to single mothers). Ten more baskets were given to few members of the church and the rest went to the families in the community who needed it most.
Each recipient received a box full of goodies and gift certificates.
We would like to thank the church for helping out with this wonderful endeavor and the many hands who took the time to help others. May God bless all of you.
A special thank you, also goes to Lori and Crystal for helping us organize this big undertaking.

Comets just finished with their Pinecar Derby Honor. They turned out beautifully. Each person created the design for their own car.
We would like to thank Jim Andersen for his help. He helped us simplify the process. It's a tiny car but complicated to make as there were so many regulations. Not only did he set aside his precious time for us, he also donated resources. We couldn't have done this without him.

Comets did the tie-dye honor. It turned out beautifully. Each person was free to use the colors they like. Each shirt is similar in style (spiral) but different enough that they had their own character. Revealing was the fun part. We are all excited to see what each shirt would look like.

Comet's first lock-in was a success. Kids learned how to pitch and strike a tent, knife and hatchet safety, different kinds of cooking nethod ( frying, boiling, baking, and grilling), and how to start a fire using only 1 match. Way to go Pathfinders.
