Cumberland Adult Reading Council

Cumberland Adult Reading Council The Adult Literacy Program provides free education to adults via volunteer tutoring to acquire functional literacy in reading, writing and math.

There are many adults in Cumberland County who struggle to read, write and do basic math. That's where we step in with free, one-on-one tutoring to help these adults achieve success and improve their skills.

CARC will be taking applications and doing placement tests for a Saturday ESL class that meets weekly from 4 to 5:30 beginning June 29th. We'll meet at 69 Neecham St at the First Methodist Church. Please contact us if you or someone you know would be interested!
