BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! We are officially having the event on Saturday, August 1st! This will be the same day as Mack's Mission so attendees will be able to enjoy both events! Check out their page for more information on that.

Big update! In short: we have a new name and there will be PICKLEBALL! Location changed to Baer Park. "Edit: Date is officially 8/1", we are hoping to have it on August first as usual, though. See more information below...

Dougie Days will officially be changing it's name to the Hicks and Homies Tournament. While we loved honoring what Doug has done for our community, he wanted the name changed so he could enjoy playing volleyball without it being strange.

What does our name mean? Walter Hicks has helped run the bags tournament for our event over the past two years, is an outstanding community member, and just a good guy we like having around; as well as the 2 time Dougie Days co****le Champ! The CP Homies is a long standing tradition of the name for friends in Cross Plains.

We will be holding the Hicks and Homies Tournament at Baer Park. New this year, we will be holding a pickleball tournament in addition to co****le and volleyball! They will all be at different times, so you can play in as many as you would like!

We are trying to get a beer tent so you can stick around to watch games, hang out with friends, and enjoy some beverages! We will also try to get live music, whether that be at Baer Park or at Remingtons afterwards.

We are looking forward to a fun day! Hope to see you all there!

The money has been donated! I had the pleasure of speaking at the last Cross Plains Lions Club meeting earlier this week and I think it is safe to say the money we raised is in good hands! Thank you to everyone who participated and donated to Dougie Days this year and helped us give back to the community!

Dougie Days 2025 is officially a wrap! We had a great event this year with lot's of fun to be had. Thank you to everyone who showed up and made it a great day! Thank you Burning Sky for coming out and putting on a show and thank you to all of our donors for your generosity! Special shoutout to all my friends that helped me out and to Dougie and Paula for all of their input. Hope to see everyone there again next year!

Last reminder to sign up for Dougie Days which is taking place this Saturday! Just as a heads-up if you sign up now it's too late to order a shirt for you so you will not get one. For those who don't want to play in either tournament but still want to support Dougie Days, stop by on August 2nd to cheer people on, enjoy live music, and enter our raffle which will be drawn around 7pm.
