Emmanuel Haiti, Jeremie

Emmanuel Haiti, Jeremie Emmanuel Haiti serves and strengthens communities in Southern Haiti through faith and partnership.

Emmanuel Haiti serves the areas of Jeremie, Kafu Sanon, Camp Perrin, La Borde, Les Cayes, Manyan, and Darivager in southern Haiti. The Emmanuel campus in Jeremie includes the Emmanuel Children's Village, a home for 65 children, the church L'Eglise El Shaddai de Chateau, Emmanuel Medical Clinic and College Emmanuel, a school with 500 students serving Kindergarten through Secondary School. In additi

on, Emmanuel Haiti has two transition homes for young men and women who have aged out of two children's homes. Twenty-one homes for widows and families have been built around Jeremie, and six churches have been built in addition to the one in Chateau. 29:11 Jeremie, a sister ministry, provides jobs for the residents of the transition homes through the creation of businesses to help these boys and girls provide for themselves as they begin life on their own. Our latest project, a widow village with 20 homes that will provide a forever family for 40 orphaned children through adoption, will be completed in spring 2022.

Founded in 2015, Institution Emmanuel now provides an education for more than 650 students in Jérémie, Haiti. In a country where nearly 40% of the population cannot read and fewer than 5% graduate from high school, these children are a picture of hope.

Haitian children in school uniforms stand taller. They smile bigger. They work harder than you could ever imagine, because they understand the value of an education and the opportunities it brings.

To all who make this possible, we say thank you. Your support is helping to shape the future of Haiti, one child at a time. ♥️ 🇭🇹

Haitian Flag Day may be over, but we just had to share this photo of Jesuca. 🇭🇹

Jesuca grew up at Emmanuel and is now part of our Family Home program, living with her foster mother while she finishes high school.

Isn’t she beautiful? ❤️💙🇭🇹 It seems like just yesterday she was a tiny thing running around playing!

We are so excited to see the transformation of the Emmanuel Medical Clinic made possible through our Christmas Catalog! Under the leadership of Benjamin Honoré, the clinic has been beautifully renovated and is now preparing for a brand new LABORATORY!

This new lab will allow the doctors and nurses to diagnose and treat many more illnesses and conditions, bringing even greater life-giving medical care to the people of the Chateau area.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who gave to make this possible — and we can’t wait to show you the finished clinic! 💚🤍 🏥

This is the story of a family living in one of the poorest areas of Bon Bon, Haiti—a remote fishing village at the southern tip of the country. 🛶

The parents make a living harvesting salt from the ocean and selling it at the market. With nine children to care for, most days are a struggle just to put enough food on the table.

When their oldest son, Genelson, was just 7 years old, they made the heartbreaking decision to send him to the Lundi Orphanage so he could be fed regularly and have the chance to go to school.

Now, twelve years later, he is home again.

Through our Family Home program, Genelson has been reunited with his family and is continuing his education. But when our social worker, Christella, visited their home, she described it as “not habitable” due to the 2021 earthquake. The walls would give way when pushed, and rain poured inside whenever storms came.

Because of generous gifts to our 2025 Christmas Catalog at the request of 12 year old Kate Hancock, this family now has a strong, safe home. 🏠

Genelson’s father sent this message - “This home is a miracle from God. There are no words to express how grateful we are.” ❤️

This is what it’s all about—restoring families, bringing hope, and seeing lives changed in southern Haiti… all to the glory of God. 🙌🏽

Please join us in wishing Christella Mondelus Charles a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🎂🎉

What a gift Christella is to all of us. 🩷 From years ago translating for our medical teams, to helping us share our love for the Haitian people, to climbing the mountains to reach those in need, Christella has been such a faithful and beautiful part of this ministry. Watching her marry the love of her life, Pastor Eden Charles, and become such a strong force for the gospel has been such a joy.

We love you, Christella, and are so thankful for you. We pray blessings over your life and can’t wait to see you again! Happy Birthday! 🙏🏽 🇭🇹✨

Today we celebrate our Philo students who are in their 13th and final year of high school, working hard in the home stretch as they prepare for graduation 🎓and the rigorous Philo exam. ✏️

In Haiti, less than 5% of students finish high school, which makes what they are accomplishing truly extraordinary. 🇭🇹 🏆

Let’s celebrate these remarkable students:
Jocelaine, Matha, Chalense, Djophael, Wenzor, Jean Renaud, and Onel.

We salute you and are praying for you! 🙏🏽
