Dixie FFA Members! It's time to start preparing for upcoming Career Development Events (CDEs) and Leadership Development Events (LDEs)!

Attached is the schedule for practice days for the month of September. The first couple will be held as interest meetings and then we will jump into practicing and forming teams! If you signed up at the first Chapter Meeting, don't miss out! If you missed signups but are interested, please join us.

Our first monthly meeting was held this afternoon with Dixie Middle FFA! We were able to discuss upcoming events and share with both chapters the different competitions FFA has to offer.

Thank you to our HS officers and other members for stepping up and sharing their passions with their fellow students.

CDE/LDE practice times will be shared in the coming days as we finalize availability and the interests of our chapters. What a perfect way to start off the year!

Our first chapter meeting will be this coming Wednesday right afterschool going until 4:30pm.

Meeting Topic: CDE/LDE Student Interest

HS FFA Membership forms are available in the basket on Ms. Waters classroom door, and will be handed out at this first meeting if needed. Come ready to learn about the CDE/LDE events our chapter is excited to try!

We will also be discussing upcoming chapter events as well, and forming planning committees for these.

There will be snacks and drinks provided for all members in attendance.

We broke ground on the upgrades to our ag land lab this week. The existing barn is being upgraded with more power, lights, fans, a wash rack, and over double the square footage. We are also renovating the small animal barn and adding an equipment barn for our new cutting edge equipment and implements we purchased this year. This will benefit our ag students for decades to come.
