Pipeline - Low Boy Driver Training - Class A License Required

Course Description
This class is a one-week course; 6 days total, Monday-Saturday, the class runs 10 hours a day. A typical day will consist of two hours of classroom instruction followed by eight hours of actual field training. The class will have one instructor and four students.

This class is intended for CDL A operators that are looking to refresh their skills and knowledge.

This class will prepare the CDL A Driver for working with a” low boy” truck and trailer During the class the following subjects will be covered:

This class is one week in length; six days total, Monday - Saturday, the class runs 10 hours a day consisting of 2 hours classroom followed by 8 hours of practical field training. The class will have one instructor and 4 students per class.

Classes are intended for experienced excavator operators. A proficiency test will be given at the beginning of the course to verify abilities.

This course will prepare you for rock drilling operations in the pipeline industry.

Crane Operations - Level 1 Crane Operations for Beginners

Blueprint Reading 2 for Stationary Engineers

Course Description
Participants should meet the following prerequisites to maximize their learning experience and successfully complete the course:
Completion of Blueprint 1 Reading for stationary engineers' course or equivalent experience
Understanding of blueprint symbols, scales, dimensions, and drawing conventions
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and HVAC systems
Familiarity with building operations equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, and control systems
Basic math skills
Experience in facility operations, maintenance, building engineering, or a related trade is recommended

Participants should have a working knowledge of basic blueprint reading principles and building systems. Completion of a Basic Blueprint Reading course or equivalent field experience is recommended. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility operations will help students fully benefit from the advanced concepts covered in this course.

Blueprint reading 2 is designed for participants who want to strengthen their ability to interpret and analyze complex technical drawings used in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Building on foundational blueprint-reading skills, participants learn to read and evaluate detailed mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, process piping, control system, and equipment installation drawings.

Participants will also be exposed to various participants related to MEP drawings on as large Commercial building specifications; Students will spend approximately 70% of classroom time with hands-on labs utilizing a variety of the drawings and specifications that are most often used as reference and guidance for the Stationary Engineer. Specific emphasis on owner branding, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing drawings and their use in the industry.

Print reading for Heavy Commercial Construction covers information on construction materials and methods, building process participants, project delivery methods, LEED® green building requirements, and the CSI MasterFormat®. Expanded topics in this class include project owner types, surveying, underground utility location, slip forms, building automation, interior trim, and new Energy Center prints.

Course Summary
Blueprint reading 2 builds on basic blueprint-reading skills and focuses on the interpretation of complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, process piping, and control system drawings. Participants learn to analyze detailed schematics, flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and construction documents to understand system integration and facility operations.
