Though often overlooked or brushed under the rug, lust is something that is real and that we do not talk about often enough.

As a sin that can easily be hidden, true to its characteristic, it has gone under the radar. It’s time for leaders to stand up & shine light. 💡🚨

New studies have shown that 73% of our teens have watched p•rn•graphy. 15% at the age of 10 or younger.
Lust in any way should NOT be seen as normal. We have been called to be Holy for He is Holy. And as Matthew 6:22-23 states, “the lamp of the body is the eye.” What you allow in through your eyes is what will shine through your being. 🪔🔦

If you know you are struggling with lust and feel trapped, you are NOT alone. We’ve been there. Find someone to hold you accountable. Find someone who you can call in the middle of the night when those thoughts come to your mind. Someone who can redirect you and help you out of that pit. 👥🫂

FLEE! 🏃🏻‍♀️💨Like Joseph. Run away from the temptation. Don’t stay where the temptation is. If you’re in your bedroom, get out! Go on a run. Literally run away from it.

Don’t be afraid to cut off ✂️ people and things that are opening that door to lust. If you have to, delete apps, get a flip phone, stop watching movies, stop playing video games. Cut off the flow of where the temptation comes through. ❌

Sometimes it’s not your fault. If you’ve tried everything and the temptation still comes, you still feel trapped. There may be a deeper root. Often times it comes with things of the past. A generational curse that has been passed down through the generations. A past trauma that happened to you. It’s NOT your fault. How do you break those generational chains? By praising. Praise breaks chains. Just like with Paul and Silas. ⛓️🙌🏼
